The question of love
When you spend a long time
consumed by unrequited love
you learn that you can go
a lifetime waiting for what
you want with all of your being
but with true, mutual love
you learn that you cannot
stand even a few days
without the rest of you
without deep suffering
whether the journey or
destination is more fulfilling
is not for me to say.
